2017

February 2017: Norman Love appoints internationally renowned Chef Frederic Monti as Chief Operating Officer at Norman Love Confections.
February 2017: Pastry Chef and Chocolatier John Cook of Norman Love Confections named Pastry Chef of the Year by Paris Gourmet at the 28th Annual U.S. Pastry Competition.

2016

October 2016: Norman and Mary Love celebrate the 15th anniversary of Norman Love Confections.
October 2016: Norman Love Confections opens its fourth Chocolate Salon in the Terra Design Center along the popular McGregor Boulevard corridor in Fort Myers.
August 2016: Chef Molly Cook wins coveted title of Chocolatier of the Year as well as People’s Choice Award at the Pastry Live Competition.

March 2016: Chef chocolatier Justin Fry of Norman Love Confections wins the coveted title of Pastry Chef of the Year at Paris Gourmet’s U.S. Pastry Competition.
January 2016: Norman Love becomes first chef chocolatier to be inducted into Dessert Professional Magazine’s Chocolatier Hall of Fame.
January 2016: Mary and Norman Love receive the Magic Wand Award for their continued support of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

2015

October 2015: Chef Chocolatier Dan Forgey represents USA in Paris at the World Chocolate Masters and earns a spot among the top 10 chocolatiers in the world.
October 2015: Norman Love Confections partnered with an elite team of Southwest Florida chefs to bring a meal of culinary excellence to the illustrious James Beard House in New York City.

October 2015: Norman Love participates in the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival to benefit No Kid Hungry and Food Bank For New York City.
September 2015: Gulfshore Business recognizes Norman Love Confections’ Corporate Sales Manager Susan Battaglia on its “40 Under 40” list.
August 2015: Chefs Brittany Mateika and Molly Rothermel of Norman Love Confections nationally recognized as first and second place winners of the Pastry Live’s 2015 Chocolatier of the Year competition.

August 2015: The Daily Telegraph (U.K.) listed Norman Love Confections as one of the 10 most amazing shops in the world for chocolate.
August 2015: Chef Norman Love featured on the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival’s website as a food personality.
July 2015: SWFL Children’s Charities honors Chef Ryan Love of Norman Love Confections with a commemorative “Plan of Appreciation” for his donation of time and talents during the 2015 Southwest Florida Food & Wine Fest’s chef-vintner dinners.

April 2015: Maura Metheny, Chef Chocolatier/Head of Design & Innovation, invited to return to her alma mater, Johnson & Wales University, as a Distinguished Visiting Chef.

March 2015: Pastry chef and chocolatier John Cook captures second place in the 26th annual U.S. Pastry Competition in New York City.
February 2015: Ronald McDonald House Charities honors Mary and Norman Love for their dedication and generosity to the children and families of Southwest Florida during the 21st Annual Storybook Ball.

January-February 2015: Cooking with Paula Dean magazine names Norman Love Confections as one of 10 favorite chocolate shops in “Best Chocolates Across America”.
January 2015: Norman Love and his team invited to the seventh annual Cayman Cookout, a four-day gourmet culinary festival on Grand Cayman.
January 2015: Naples Illustrated Readers’ Choice Dining Awards honor NLC for “Best Gelato” and its gourmet chocolates as “Best Dessert”.

2014

December 2014: The News-Press names Norman Love one of three finalists for Business of the Year.
November 2014: Norman Love named one of 10 2014 USA Today Entrepreneur of the Year finalists.

November 2014: USA Weekend names NLC’s white chocolate and coconut golf balls a Hot Gift.
