Norman Love Confections hatches special Easter treats
Norman Love Confections is giving the Easter Bunny a helping hand this year by creating 10 special chocolate eggs and other treats guaranteed to add both style and substance to any Easter basket.
Decorated in spring colors, the festive eggs are as visually appealing as they are delicious.
“It’s always fun to create beautiful eggs in unique flavors for this special holiday,” said chocolatier Norman Love.
The Chocolate Salons offer other options for filling Easter baskets, including Bunny Bark, with layers of dark and white chocolate sprinkled with jelly beans and coconut. Norman Love Confections chocolatiers also have stocked the shelves with chocolate-covered jelly beans, chocolate-coated marshmallow bunnies and solid dark-, milk- and white-chocolate bunnies, including sugar-free versions of the solid bunnies. A special edition Easter pail is filled with several of these specialties for $29.50.
A Paint Your Own Egg Kit will entertain children after the egg hunts end. Each kit, priced at $30, includes white-chocolate and milk-chocolate eggs, with four containers of edible cocoa butter paint, kid-friendly paintbrushes and directions.
This year’s chocolate egg flavors include
Chocolate fudge: Silky smooth milk and dark chocolate create a rich fudge center surrounded by dark chocolate.
Coconut almond: Layers of crunchy almond praline and creamy coconut ganache encased in a dark-chocolate shell.
Lemon meringue: Tart lemon ganache and fluffy marshmallow combine for a tangy-sweet treat encased in white chocolate.
Mint cookie: Chocolate cream cookies and cool white chocolate mint ganache are the perfect pair within a thin bittersweet chocolate shell.
Orange cream Popsicle: This white chocolate confection pairs fresh orange and creamy vanilla, bringing a bright ray of Florida sunshine to the collection.
PB milk chocolate: This egg, a perennial favorite, matches creamy peanut butter with delectable Swiss milk chocolate.
Pecan turtle: A classic pairing of candied pecans and vanilla caramel enrobed in milk chocolate, this egg brings out the child in everyone.
Strawberry yogurt: This white chocolate treat contains a blend of tart strawberry and rich vanilla yogurt ganache.
Toffee: This milk chocolate egg is filled with buttery toffee and creamy white chocolate ganache.
Vanilla cream: Simple and elegant, pure Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean is infused into fresh cream, combined with Swiss white chocolate and finished with sweet butter.
These special chocolates will be available only for a limited time.
