Norman Love Confections now open in Estero’s Miromar Outlets
ESTERO, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2014) – Satisfying that craving for Norman Love’s chocolates, pastries and gelato treats has just gotten easier with the opening of the company’s new location at Miromar Outlets in Estero.
It is the fourth location for Norman Love Confections, which operates Chocolate Salons in Fort Myers and Naples as well as Artisan Gelato in Fort Myers.
Not only will the Miromar location offer chocolates, pastries and gelato, it will do so from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. six days a week and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 239-672-8787.
“Norman Love Confections is very proud to become part of the Miromar Outlet family and we are delighted to offer our chocolates, pastries and gelato to those in the Estero and Bonita Springs area,” says Norman Love. “The salon is easily accessible from Interstate 75, Corkscrew Road and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, making it convenient to both local chocolate lovers and visitors.”
With a stylish green and brown signature decor and style of service reminiscent of French cafes, Love believes the new location will have international appeal.
“Those who live here will have the opportunity to taste a bit of Europe, while international visitors will feel at home as well,” Love said.
The 1,100-square-foot confectionary boutique, designed by GTI Designs of New York, sits at the east end of the shopping complex next to Naples Flatbread and across from Ford’s Garage.
The salon will offer an array of fresh muffins, croissants, brownies, cookies and pastries, along with coffee, latte, espresso, macchiato and chai, as well as white and chocolate milk and other cold beverages.
The tantalizing, ultra-premium chocolates for which the company is known also are available.
So, too, will be a full array of the company’s artisanal gelatos, which are available straight up, in a sundae or tucked into a tender, freshly made crepe with such toppings at Nutella, caramelized hazelnuts, oven-roasted apples, caramelized bananas with rum sauce and warm salted caramel with caramel turtle gelato.
Sundae possibilities include a warm fudge brownie with vanilla and chocolate gelato and hot fudge finished with whipped cream, or the Black Forest, which features moist chocolate-almond cake with vanilla gelato, sweet black cherries, homemade chocolate sauce, roasted almond slices and whipped cream. For a taste of the tropics, try the coconut cake with coconut gelato, chocolate sauce, sliced bananas, warm butter rum drizzle, toasted coconut and whipped cream.
Norman Love Confections creates and distributes handcrafted artisanal chocolates from the Fort Myers corporate headquarters that encompasses both production and retail operations. The Fort Myers and Naples chocolate salons are stylish retail shops with an intimate ambience in which customers may purchase chocolates or linger over house-made pastries, gourmet coffees, lattes and smoothies.
The award-winning Fort Myers-based chocolatier has been lauded 13 times by a leading consumer ratings magazine, including recognition six times for producing the best ultra-premium chocolates.
The Fort Myers Chocolate Salon, at 11380 Lindbergh Blvd., is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Naples Chocolate Salon, which also serves gelato at 3747 Tamiami Trail N. in Parkshore Centre, is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
