FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept. 21, 2012) – Amy Sedlacek, corporate sales manager at Norman Love Confections, was recently recognized as one of Gulfshore Business’ 40 Under 40 class of 2012 at Blue Martini in Naples.

The honor, initiated a decade ago, is awarded annually to the 40 most promising young professionals under 40 years of age who are leaders and have distinguished themselves in their professions and in the community. Gulfshore Business’ 40 Under 40 class of 2012 included an array of professionals, including medical, law, education, finance, public service and the arts, as well as entrepreneurs.

“While many may know and recognize Amy as an accomplished TV reporter/anchor, she has enthusiastically embraced her newest role as our corporate sales manager,” said Norman Love. “Despite being a novice in the field of confections, Amy, with determination, professionalism and drive, outpaced previous corporate sales revenues in her first year with NLC.”

Sedlacek also coordinates and represents NLC throughout the community with charitable and business organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society of Lee County Cattle Barons’ Ball, Southwest Florida chambers, Alliance of the Arts Taste of the Arts, Saks Waterside Fashion’s Night Out, Southwest Florida Symphony and Dress for Success at Clive Daniels.
