NLC raises $5,000 for 3 Wishes
While the 3 Wishes event is sold out, Mary and Norman Love donated two tickets at the NLC table to the Nov. 8 fundraiser that will benefit three local charities. The $25 chance drawing, held Nov. 1 at Norman Love Confections in Fort Myers, raised $5,000 in additional support of Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Florida and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. The prize package included much more than two tickets valued at $1,000 to the event – a 15-piece box of Norman Love Confections monthly for a year ($725 value), plus an invitation to attend the exclusive (and priceless) VIP day-after reception with the visiting pastry chefs from the Food Network and Bravo at the home of Norman Love. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the three nonprofits. For more information on 3 Wishes, contact co-chair Lori Sampson-Wilson at 239-850-6697.
