The honor, initiated a decade ago, is awarded annually to the 40 most promising young professionals under 40 years of age who are leaders and have distinguished themselves in their professions and in the community. Gulfshore Business’ 40 Under 40 class of 2012 included an array of professionals, including medical, law, education, finance, public service and the arts, as well as entrepreneurs.

(Sept. 10, 2012) – Norman Love Confections announced today that it has been named one of 100 finalists for the Audience Choice Award in Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia’s inaugural American Made, a multimedia celebration of American artists and entrepreneurs. The American Made program will celebrate 10 rising stars – plus an 11th Audience Choice winner – from a range of lifestyle arenas including food, fashion, design, community, gardening, crafts and technology. The winners will be honored guests at a celebratory event and part of a unique pop-up experience at Grand Central Terminal in New York City.

(Aug. 3, 2012) – Mary and Norman Love are continuing their philanthropic generosity to raise money for local charities through Sharing a Lil’ Love with Norman Love Confections, a fundraising opportunity to benefit a different nonprofit organization every four months. Money raised from August through November will benefit Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 30, 2012) – It’s no secret that Norman and Mary Love have a special place in their hearts for patients at the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Center at The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. Recently the Loves, founders of Norman Love Confections, donated a multi-game table arcade machine to help entertain the children (and parents too) while undergoing treatment in the facility.
Dan Spolar, with Pinball Asylum, helped Norman Love deliver the professional machine as a special gift that is now part of the departments growing entertainment center.
