FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 2, 2013) – Mary and Norman Love and the pastry chefs at Norman Love Confections are kicking up their heels during October to benefit Partners for Breast Cancer Care.
In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the award-winning chocolatier has launched a monthlong fundraiser with proceeds from the sales of pink milk chocolate high-heel pumps in support of Partners for Breast Cancer Care.
Designed specifically for breast cancer awareness, the artisan chocolate shoes are available at the Fort Myers and Naples chocolate salons throughout the month of October.
“Norman Love Confections is stepping up to help those less fortunate
fight breast cancer,” said Norman Love. “The pink pumps are unique party
favors or girlfriend gifts.”
The shoes, created by Maura Metheny, head of chocolate design and product innovation at NLC, are five inches tall, six and one-half inches long, three inches wide and are made of 150 grams of ultra-premium chocolate. Three dollars of each $18 shoe will benefit PfBCC.
The one-of-a-kind organization, Partners for Breast Cancer Care funds breast care procedures such as screening, diagnostic testing, surgery and treatment for underserved Lee County women and men at no cost to them. For more information, visit www.pfbcc.org.
Annually Norman Love Confections donates thousands of dollars worth of product and financial support to more than 250 nonprofit organizations, schools and churches in Lee and Collier counties.
Norman Love Confections creates and distributes handcrafted artisanal chocolates from the Fort Myers corporate headquarters that encompasses both production and retail operations. The Fort Myers and Naples chocolate salons are stylish retail shops with an intimate ambience in which customers may purchase chocolates or linger over house-made pastries, gourmet coffees, lattes and smoothies.
