    FORT MYERS, Fla. (Sept. 10, 2014) – Chef Justin Fry, of Norman Love Confections, is the winner of the fourth annual Chocolatier of the Year competition at Pastry Live 2014 in Atlanta.

    Sixteen international and national chocolate artisans competed for the honor by crafting a molded chocolate as well as a specialty enrobed chocolate. The chocolates were judged on taste, creativity and workmanship.

    Fry’s chocolates earned him high marks for the creative flavors and high-quality craftsmanship. His Lemon Hazelnut chocolate, a balance of white chocolate, hazelnut pralines and lemon ganache mixed with candied hazelnuts, impressed the judges with its unique taste and elegant design. Also highly favored for its originality and superb flavors was Fry’s Litchi Raspberry chocolate, which featured layers of litchi ganache, raspberry pate de fruit and a coconut crunch, all enrobed in milk chocolate.
